I am a strong advocate against Plagiarism, and firmly believe in citing and crediting my all sources. It is only fair that you do give credit and acknowledge someone else's work. As for me, starting up myself, I see the importance of having creditable sources to make my articles or discussions more compelling. I myself hold no weight in my comments (just personal opinions for now), yet. When the day comes that I too may publish or write any journal or research papers, I would love if someone were to use my information in whatever what possible and credit the source, by simply citing that individual. Just my two cents worth. So, citing is the way to go!
